Coming to iPhone and Android

Every step. Every timer. Right where you left it.

Golden Cheff walks you through a recipe one step at a time, in type you can read from across the counter. It runs your timers, shows the food-safety checks, and picks up exactly where you stopped, even if the app closes mid-sear.

Free to join. We'll email you when your invite is ready.

Early preview of the cook screen

The problem

Recipes weren't written for the kitchen.

01

The scroll

You wade through a life story and six ads to find step four. With raw chicken on your hands.

02

The dark screen

Your phone locks right when you need it. You wake it with a knuckle and lose your place.

03

The timer juggle

One timer on the microwave, one on your phone, one in your head that you already forgot.

04

The guess

It looks done. You cut it open to check, and now it's dry. Or it isn't done at all.

How it works

Cook it like a pro would. One step at a time.

  1. 01

    Pick a recipe

Every recipe is split into short steps, with the times and temperatures already built in.

  2. 02

    Tap Start cooking

The screen stays on. You see one step, big and clear, and nothing else.

  3. 03

    Let it keep time

Timed steps come with their own timer. Start it with one tap. Pause it if the doorbell rings.

  4. 04

    Tap Done, keep going

Big buttons that are easy to hit with messy hands. When the last step is done, so is dinner.

Features

Built for the stove, not the couch.

Picks up right where you left it.

Take a call, close the app, restart your phone. Golden Cheff reopens on the same step, and your timers have kept counting the whole time.

Timers inside the steps

No setting, no guessing. The sear step brings its 4-minute timer, and it keeps real time even when the app is closed.

One step, big type

Readable at arm's length. On a tablet, the whole recipe sits next to the step you're on.

Safety checks on the step

The steps that matter show the safe internal temperature, like 165°F for chicken, right when you need it.

Works offline

No Wi-Fi by the stove? It doesn't matter. Once the recipe is on your phone, you can cook it start to finish.

Your units

°F, cups and tablespoons by default. Switch to °C and grams if that's how you cook.

Roadmap

What's cooking next.

These are in development. We'll show them when they work, not before.

In development

Voice control

Say "next" or "start the timer" without touching the screen.

In development

Ask the kitchen

Out of butter? Pan too small? Ask, and get an answer for the step you're on.

In development

Whole-meal timing

Cook three dishes at once and have them land on the table together.

Know what you have. Buy only what you need.

FAQ

Fair questions.

When does Golden Cheff launch?

We're building it now. People on the early list get invites first. We'd rather hand you a working app than a date we can't keep.

How much will it cost?

Joining the list is free. We'll share pricing before launch, and the early list hears it first.

Which devices will it run on?

iPhone and Android phones, plus iPad and Android tablets. On a tablet you see the whole recipe next to the step you're on.

Is it hands-free?

Not yet. The first version has big buttons you can hit with a knuckle and keeps the screen on while you cook. Voice control is next on the roadmap.

Do I need an account?

No. You'll be able to cook as a guest and create an account later to back up your cooking history.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Once a recipe is on your phone, you can cook it start to finish offline.

What do you do with my email?

We use it to send your invite and product news. We don't sell it. The details are in our privacy policy.
